Archive for August, 2008

I am always trying to scope out new locations and my kids despise love when I throw (not literally though some days I feel like it) them in the family truckster and drive around to find something interesting so that’s what we did today.  I wanted to try some wider angle things and I loved exploring this place:

Unfortunately I think Little Ri inherited my dancing limitations and she also unfortunately inherited my inability to come to terms with the fact that I am a horrible dancer.  Those at my wedding may remember my pathetic attempt at doing the worm (in fact I think I think I can probably come up with a picture of that poor taste in judgement).

this my friends is when most rational mothers begin to notice that their child has had enough and………..”yes” her dress is on backwards but you try telling that to a 4 year old who dressed herself and see how you fare.

Thank God this little critter came along to brighten our lives. I blame Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch for my children’s love of bugs.  Yuck.

A cameo by the bug before narrowly escaping a stomping from Mr. Rowan.  Don’t worry, he wasn’t harmed (and the bug was okay too).

So speaking of worms (and my dancing ability)…………..I wanted to give a special thanks to my friend Noreen who was nice enough to capture this image on my special day!  (sorry for the quality, it was scanned).

I usually have a deep adversion to thinking about the holidays this early but I need to be on the ball about this because I am seriously lacking in the organization department.  If you (or anyone you know) is interested in holiday mini-sessions, I will be offering them in the fall on a very limited basis.  Here are the details:

Stay tuned for more details and for some sneak peaks of the custom cards that I will be offering.

wee one August 11th, 2008

I proudly introduce Ava who is the baby girl of a guy that I went to highschool with and his wonderful wife.  They were so nice to welcome me into their home yesterday and I did the best I could with this little cutie under difficult light conditions.  It was sunny until I got to their house and then gray clouds and a torrential downpour came with hail and everything (in the middle of August – you’ve got to be kidding me) so we camped near the the biggest window and tried to make the best of it.  Ava was none the wiser and slept through most of it and her parents were sweet enough to entertain me while we waited for the storm to pass. Thank you guys and I hope you like the pics!

and of course we had to let big brother in on the action!

Next to my own, these are 2 of my most favorite kids in the world!  I’ll have to elaborate later on why I love them so much but Kevin and the kids are waiting not-so-patiently for me so we can go to cr(applebees) for dinner – us Coyles really like to live large ya know!!!!!!!!!  I’ll be back to elaborate more on these kids but for now, here they are in all of their gorgeousness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a secret for you, this little guy isn’t due for another 20 days but he decided he just couldn’t wait any longer and here he is! Matthew is the super lucky son of one of my very good friends and her awesome husband.  Regina was my partner in crime b.k. (before Kevin) and we sure did have a great time!  I won’t bore you with stories because I wouldn’t believe half of them myself but I can tell you that you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone in this world who doesn’t like Regina.  She’s just one of those people that makes your life a little bit better for having known her.  She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and was even there the night I met Kev ( and despite her better judgement – I hit on him anyway.  I said she was a great person – I didn’t mention her questionable judgement but anyway…………), she is just a ton of fun to be around and she’s a natural mother!!!!  I was so excited to meet her new son and I was thrilled when she agreed to let me photograph him and I only had to beg her a little.  Welcome to the world Matthew – you picked one heck of a good family to bless and I would have picked them too if I could (provided Brangelina wasn’t having any more babies).  xoxo

Yes, she really looks that fabulous after having a baby only 11 days ago.  Lucky @#@#$ sweetheart.
