First Day September 09th, 2008
Yesterday was my little bunny’s first day of preschool in the 4 year old program. She was so excited to meet new friends and to see some old ones. I was proud of myself for not crying since I cried more than she did last year. I can’t believe how grown up she is getting! I also can’t wait to hear about all of the fun things she learns this year while she’s still excited enough to tell me (unfortunately we also got their fundraising info today too – on the FIRST day – can’t they even give us a week to adjust. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr).

walking away – so symbolic. [sniff]
when she got home all she wanted to do was her “homework” which was totally self-inflicted. Weird kid!

I am so in love with this little guy that my ovaries hurt. I just had to post more of him and his gorgeous momma. I look at him and think, “well I already have 2 – what’s one more!?!?!?” For the sake of my marriage would someone please talk me down from this ledge???

sweet baby yawns are the best!
I just have to stop looking – that’s all there is to it. I think school starting for Riley again next week has got my parental hormones all funky. There’s also no way that I’d look this fabulous just 3 weeks after giving birth. Don’t get me wrong, I thought I recovered well and pretty quickly after having Riley (my first) but then Kevin saw these pictures and said, “WOW – she looks great for just having a baby” which translates to, “You looked like hell 3 weeks after having our children” and so I think that is a good enough reason for me to be content with the 2 I have!
Happy Labor Day September 01st, 2008
I’m not supposed to be working today, am I? I’m supposed to be over at my neighbor’s picnic having a great time but Rowan decided to take the longest nap in history so while I’m waiting for him to wake up, I might as well post some pictures, right? Truth be told, I’ve been dying to work on these pictures all day because little Gavin was one of the sweetest newborns I’ve ever seen. He was SO good to me and slept like a dream throughout our session! He was the perfect model right up until the end when….well, let’s just say that the carpet might never be the same.
Noone said newborns were predictable but at least we know he’s well fed. haha.
How sweet is he here??? Let’s all give one big “AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW”

a little peek into the nursery!
LOVE baby toes!

enjoy him Steph & Mike – he sure is beautiful!!!!!!!!!
