my baby girl October 15th, 2008

My online class is still going full-swing so I wanted to share a few images that I took for this week’s assignment.  Riley has been such an awesome model for me while I try to muddle my way through the new things we are learning.  This particular “session” only cost me 2 lollipops and a “get out of eating dinner free card”.  I think photographers and dentists should go into business together, it could be a very profitable relationship!

fortunate October 12th, 2008

First off I have to say that I love photographing kids at this age and it helps when they are as beautiful (and handsome) as these two!  You can see that the apple does not fall far when you meet this wonderful family!  I leave almost all of my sessions feeling like I made a few new friends and these guys were such a pleasure to spend the morning with – you definitely made my job easy today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katie, I’m still trying to figure out what that move was called.  I think I may have to get Kid ‘N Play’s House Party from Netflix!!!  Hope you enjoyed your session!!!!!!!

November Minis October 09th, 2008

If you missed out on your mini-session in October, I am excited to announce that myself and my uber-talented friend Heidi will be doing a day’s worth of sessions on November 8th!!  Click here for details and let me know ASAP if you are interested because there are only a few spots remaining!

bugaboo October 06th, 2008

Sweet Andrew is so adorable and so easy to please!  All his mother had to do was say “bugaboo” over and over and he would crack up in the cutest laugh ever.  I was laughing so hard that it was hard to stay still long enough to take a picture!

I love this picture of Andrew and his daddy.  You wouldn’t even know that we were being completely swarmed by gnats at this point so lucky me got to spend the last hour removing them from the pictures – now I wish I could remove the ones I swallowed during this session.  YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so badly want a picture of me and one of my kids like this (hint hint Heidi)!!!!!!!!!  I wish I could rewind to when they were 6 months old for just one day!

Thank you guys for being so fun to work with!

mini session location October 04th, 2008

Logan and Marin are the easiest kids to photograph so when I needed to test a location for my mini-sessions, they were the first ones I called (I also could not subject my own 2 to another day of photography abuse).  Logan started Kindergarten this year so I was teasing him and asking if he had a girlfriend.  He said no but his little sister decided to spill the beans and said that he does have a girlfriend and when I asked who she was, she said “I his girlfriend” very posessively – so cute.  The funny thing is that when I got home and loaded the pictures on my computer, Riley walked in and said “Hey, that’s my boyfriend Logan”.  I guess Marin might have some competition.  heehee.
