Hey Jake, it’s Uncle Becca November 25th, 2008
This family was hilarious. They have the cutest almost-3 year old boy and his baby brother is adorable as well. Mom has 4 siblings and after today, I have photographed 3 of the 5 families within the last 4 months with another one scheduled after Christmas. I absolutely loved their little boy Cole who insisted on being called Jake (his cousin’s name) for our entire session – what imagination! He decided part way through that my name was Uncle Becca and he kept saying “no more pictures, Uncle Becca”. I was laughing so hard but of course I didn’t stop taking pictures. Here are a few and I decided to show them in b&w because I guess I’m just in a black & white kind of mood.

I love this age – when else is it perfectly acceptable to suck on your own toes?

Benefits of doing mini-sessions with my wonderful friend Heidi………………
- tons of fun & laughing while somehow working at the same time
- spending time with her while she is visiting from Minnesota
- getting pictures of MY family that I am actually IN!!!!!!! woohoo!!
Here are just a few of the shots that Heidi took for me and I will forever be grateful.
crazy busy!!!!!! November 18th, 2008
I feel like I’ve been neglecting my blog since I’ve suddenly become super busy but I’m not complaining! I wanted to share some pics from one of my weekend sessions. I really wish every session could be this much fun. They were so laid-back and willing to do anything (including brave the cold temperatures and wind) and I loved spending the morning with them!
I’m so in love – tell me she isn’t the cutest thing ever?
one of my favorites!
I think this screams “Christmas Card” – don’t you????
fun weekend November 11th, 2008
It was a great weekend because my friend Heidi was in town and we got to do a few mini-sessions together. Heidi has been a wonderful friend to me over the past year and she is single-handedly responsible for convincing me that I could start my own business and I will forever be grateful to her for the information she so graciously shares with me and for listening to any moaning and groaning I may do (who me – yeah I have a dark side)!!!!!!!!! I wanted to quickly share a few shots from this weekend and check back to see some photos of my family!! Thanks Heidi!!!!!!!!!
