I tried to think of a good name for this post and all I could come up with was the word, “blessed” because that’s what Dalton’s parents are and they are well aware of it! It’s hard to remember how blessed we are as parents sometimes when you’re going through the daily grind of finding the other shoe, wiping the chocolate off your kid’s face once they’ve eaten 10 Snickers in one day, explaining what adopted means (my kids are not adopted but it’s a hard concept to explain to a 4 year old who likes to tell her brother that they are adopted. If you are ever in that position – Sleeping Beauty is an excellent reference tool), finding the source of the foul smell, and various other unpleasant parental tasks. My point is that spending a day with this family reminded me of how much I love my little ones. Dalton’s parents clearly love their son endlessly and with good reason. He is such a lovebug (not to mention also cute and funny) and any 4 year old who is holding my hand within 10 minutes of meeting me is an awesome kid in my book!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you like the pics!

I knew that I would love these pictures as soon as my husband said “That was fun” when we got home. What an odd comment to come out of his mouth as we both HATE having our pictures done. This was the first time we had “family” pictures! The few pictures I have seen have truly captured our family! We are very loving, and the love for our son is evident everyday! Thank you so much…I love everything you posted! The family picture is beautiful…however the one of me and Dalton makes me want to cry!!!
I LOVE THESE!! (and I love 4 year old boys). That last one is precious.
