just because November 06th, 2008
I take a lot of pictures of my kids on a weekly basis and many are too bad to post on my blog (also half the time they are running around half-clothed and I don’t want to attract the wrong viewers) but today I feel like posting some just for fun. Clothed ones, that is!
Fun times at the park (for me anyway)! I love how she looks like she’s floating in a circle.
Little guy makes an appearance.

She’s such a lady. Not the most flattering position but the smile makes up for it. (plus there’s the little guy again. 2 in one day – MAJOR RECORD)
This one I love because she was wearing her snow white dress and found this ribbon in my computer room which she demanded that I make into a headband. She then wanted me to take pictures and she was making horrible cheese faces so I cut the lower part of her head off. Fantastic Mom right? Don’t worry – I have enough pictures of her in that darn dress to scare a busfull of future boyfriends away. I can’t wait to bring out the ones of her in her Cinderella wedding gown and say, “oh yes Riley has been planning her wedding ever since she was 3″ and then watch them run out the door!!!!!!!!!!
blessed November 03rd, 2008
I tried to think of a good name for this post and all I could come up with was the word, “blessed” because that’s what Dalton’s parents are and they are well aware of it! It’s hard to remember how blessed we are as parents sometimes when you’re going through the daily grind of finding the other shoe, wiping the chocolate off your kid’s face once they’ve eaten 10 Snickers in one day, explaining what adopted means (my kids are not adopted but it’s a hard concept to explain to a 4 year old who likes to tell her brother that they are adopted. If you are ever in that position – Sleeping Beauty is an excellent reference tool), finding the source of the foul smell, and various other unpleasant parental tasks. My point is that spending a day with this family reminded me of how much I love my little ones. Dalton’s parents clearly love their son endlessly and with good reason. He is such a lovebug (not to mention also cute and funny) and any 4 year old who is holding my hand within 10 minutes of meeting me is an awesome kid in my book!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you like the pics!

His face cracks me up here!!
