lives up to his name January 27th, 2009
His first name means “easy-going” and I would say that he was just that today! He didn’t mind a bit when we plopped him on his belly:

He didn’t even mind when I put this goofy hat on him:

Okay – so maybe he minded just a little bit.

His middle name means “well-loved” and clearly he is:

His last name means “perfection”. [okay, I made that part up but it'd be hard to convince anyone that meets him that he is anything but].

Congrats Bob & Wendy!!!!!!!!!!!!
sweetness January 24th, 2009
I have a busy few days coming up but I just wanted to post pictures of one of my favorite newborns of 2009! Seriously – could he be any cuter? I had so much fun mushing him up in these pictures and he slept like a champ!!! xoxo

my own January 20th, 2009
We had a fun day today of playing in the snow. We made a snowman, sledded on our hill, played on the frozen creek behind our house, made snow angels and snow castles and just had a really nice day. While we were back at the creek, I was eyeing up the scenery as usual. I loved how the light was streaming down in this one small spot through a clearing in the trees so when Rowan went down for his nap, Riley and I went back into the woods so I could quickly try out my new lens. I have to say that I had envisioned this picture looking MUCH cooler than it actually does but it was still fun. You win some and sometimes you just have to settle (and then photoshop the heck out of it). :)

I did manage to get some cute ones of my little bunny though.

and “YES”, she has mismatched gloves. If anyone has seen the person who comes in and routinely hides my children’s gloves – please let me know where I can find him or her.

Loving the SNOW!!!! January 20th, 2009
Just wanted to give some recognition to our sweet little one-eyed snowman. :)
Maybe I’ll get around to proofing some of the kids eventually.

My new friend and I had so much fun running around in the snow! It was freezing (at least freezing by my standards) but we still had a great time! What boy doesn’t like playing in the snow anyway!?!?!? Did I mention that it was cold, oh, well it was. Here is the newly-turned 6 year old in all of his handsomness!

Here’s an outtake that made me smile. He was so excited that I was actually letting him throw things at me!

and since I’m still sick in bed with baby fever – here’s another of his mucho adorable baby sister.
