hanging out : Bucks County Newborn Photography February 27th, 2009
Today was such a good day because I got to hang out with someone who I haven’t seen in ages when she called me to take pictures of her newborn son. I had such a great time catching up and reminiscing about the crazy things we did together in our 20-somethings.
As we were hanging out – the baby did too, literally!

He was such a good boy and slept like an angel!!

and of course we can’t forget his big brother!!

low light : Berks County Photography February 26th, 2009
To continue to challenge myself I am doing a 52 week challenge with some friends with a different theme each week. We are only on week 8 and I’m determined to make it to the end!! This week’s theme was low light and I thought I’d share my entry here because 1) I haven’t done much of anything this week since my germ-monger of a son so nicely shared his cold with me and 2) this is not my typical style but I could totally see myself becoming more of a moody light person. Let me know what you think – good, bad, indifferent?? My favorite part is the grain on her legs which make them look dirty and remind me of my favorite frames from O’Brien Schridde (actually her legs may actually be dirty – did I mention that I was sick? I don’t know that baths were my top priority this week. Ewwwwww……)

hug them tight : Berks County Photography February 17th, 2009
Why is it that they always look their cutest when they are driving you nuts!?!?!?!? Today was a rough day in the Coyle household, I have 2 sick kids who are nothing short of miserable but I’m not complaining (not alot anyway).

sub-urban February 14th, 2009
Okay, I admit that I live in the sticks – way out in the middle of nowhere (at least that’s what all of our friends said when we moved here and it must be true because we rarely see them anymore). I just wanted to prove to this teen that we could, in fact, find cool locations in nowhere-ville to photograph her and I think we accomplished that. I really didn’t want to do a flowers and field kind of session because I didn’t think it would do her justice – this seemed much more her style (although we did eventually end up in a field). I have a bunch that I want to share from this session so sit back and relax!

Do you ever get the feeling….. February 04th, 2009
that your children despise you??

They’re looking at me like I stole their candy or something (and maybe I did but they were asleep so they couldn’t possibly know it was me).
They couldn’t get away from me fast enough:
