We did it – Rowan is officially in his big boy room in a big boy bed (hopefully I’ll get some pics posted of it someday soon) but along the way a funny thing happened.  He made it clear that he was done naps sometime in December but ever since we took his crib apart, he has been carrying around the crib bumpers and falling asleep on our family room floor.  Around the same time, he has also become obsessed with carrying around his spook a.k.a. “poon”.  The other moms at preschool have been laughing each day when we pick up Riley because he always has his spoon with him.  I couldn’t resist capturing it the other day when he fell asleep on the family room floor so here it is:

I’m sure you are bored to tears with seeing pictures of my kids but suck it up because here are a few more.  heehee.

That’s it.  Sidenote – one opening for May remains so if you’re considering a session, please contact me asap!  THANKS.

I’ve made no secret about the fact that I bribe my own kids with lollipops so we went out to take pics and actually had some fun doing it since I feel like I’ve been slacking lately.  Anyway….. this conversation in the car on the way home cracked me up.

Riley: Mommy, there is a tootsie roll in my lolly!

Rowan: Mommy put tootsie woll in mine lollipop too????

Riley: Mommy didn’t do that.

Rowan: Who put tootsie woll in mine lollipop???

Riley:  God put it in there.

Rowan:  Ohhhh, God nice.

and here are the results of my day:

So, I was playing around the other day and I took this shot of Riley which I absolutely love:

but the problem is – where do you put a shot like this????? It’s not really a portrait so it can’t go in my family room, it’s not colorful enough for Riley’s room, hmmmmmmmmmm?  What should I do?  (you see where I’m going with this, right?)

AHHHHH – perfect.  Now do you see where I was going with this and where everyone that comes to my house will go with this???  Ewwwww, gross…………..but that’s my kind of mood today!

Off topic – I love the gallery mount, no framing necessary which means I can save my money for more important things like a new toilet paper holder which I am in desperate need of.
