I hope everyone had a wonderful mother’s day!  I had a session in the morning and then came home to a CLEAN office – my gift from Riley & Rowan.  It was the best gift ever and if you know me well, then you know I’m a complete slob so this was no easy task!!!  I honestly don’t know what to do with myself in here –  I can see everything I need and I don’t have to go through a stack of papers to find my random scribblings (a.k.a. important notes).  I am thrilled!

Now on to the family that I photographed in the morning who have NEVER had family pictures taken.  Can you believe it – with girls this beautiful!?!?!!?!??  I hope I did them justice.

Note to Dad – I think you may want to start researching how to keep teenage boys away because I DO NOT want to see the reaction they will have to these girls in 10 years (hopefully more).

And an outtake because Riley is making me post it.  Even their ugly faces are cute.

Hope all the moms enjoyed your day!!

I was given the opportunity to do something a little different – engagement portraits!!  I know, I know – I am so NOT a wedding photographer and while I completely admire those who do it, I just don’t know if I’m cut out for it.  That being said, when my good friend Kevin asked me to take his engagement portraits – I agreed and I’m glad I did.  It was a lot of fun and I’ll let you be the judge of whether I should ever do this again or if I should just stick to kids.

I had to throw this one in there because Kevin’s tough guy face cracks me up.  I used to work with him so I know he makes this face alot but I’m certainly not scared – bulging vein or otherwise.

Thanks guys – I can’t wait until the wedding as you enter the next level of your relationship and I certainly will be there with my camera for Level 3: Parenthood!!!!!!!!!  (okay, so maybe I’m jumping the gun a bit).

xoxo
