weird but happy story June 19th, 2009

I posted newborn pics of this little guy a few weeks ago and wanted to share this story:
Here is baby Dean – cute little bugger, isn’t he????

Well, a month or so before Dean’s due date his mommy & daddy hung this flower basket outside of their front door:

I obviously suck at flower pictures but overlooking that, it’s a nice bunch of flowers, right?  Well, evidently the dove who decided to take up residence in the flower pot thought so too. If you look you can just see her peaking out of the top of the basket.  When Dean’s mommy & daddy left for a scheduled c-section at the hospital, she was in her usual spot and they didn’t think too much of it but when they returned home with their new bundle of adorableness, Mama Dove was obviously busy with her own bundle of adorableness (at least I guess he’s cute, I’m not really an expert on the bird cuteness scale).

She has been sitting here ever since and if you look, you can see that my friends so graciously offered her a piece of bread which still sits in the basket.  I don’t know where they got the idea that doves eat bread but whatever, I can’t judge.

Cute story, right?????????  Anyway, as I mentioned, I don’t know much about the cute bird scale but I do know about the cute baby scale and little Dean is sure tipping the cute side!!!!!!!!!
