awesome July 30th, 2009
It’s so exciting to catch up with friends and get to know their children for a few hours. Amy is an old friend of mine – not old in the “she walks with a cane and loves cats” kind of way (although we are getting up there and she’s 6 months older than me so maybe that does indeed make her old) – but more in a we’ve known each other since 1st grade kind of way. Naturally, I was excited to do her session and that has nothing to do with the fact that I knew her kids would have cute clothes – OKAY, maybe it does a little bit. I think we had a great Sunday afternoon together and her little girls are so adorable! At then end of our session while waiting for her ice cream, her little one leaned over to me and tapped me on my shoulder and said, “Becky, You are AWESOME”. I think she even winked at me. I don’t know why she said it or if it had anything to do with the fact that it was my idea to get ice cream but for a few seconds, I felt awesome and it was exactly what I needed after a rough week so thank you sweet Haven!!!!
MIA July 27th, 2009
I know I have been doing a horrible job of posting lately but we’ve been having some health issues at home and I’ve been trying to focus more on being a mom to my fantastic kids. Since something has to give……..it’s my blog. I also want to apologize to those who are waiting on emails from me, I’m hoping to get caught up soon. I will be back soon with lots to share from our vacation as well as more of these 2 cuties!!!!

I’m short on words because I have about a million things to do before vacation but I wanted to share some images of a recent maternity session. They were such troopers and seriously – could she look any better? She claims that she is eating the mandatory bowl of ice cream each night but it sure isn’t affecting her like it did me. Metabolism can be so cruel.

I’m allowed to call her crazy (although silly is probably more appropriate) because she is one of Riley’s best friends and also Rowan’s future wife. She doesn’t know that she’s going to marry Rowan but he wakes up asking for her just about every day and before he goes to bed, he usually asks if he’ll see her the next day so I think there may be a future there. Either that or he’s going to torture Riley for the next 20 years by having the hots for all of her cute friends!!
I just adore it when kids bring their silliness to the session and she definitely brought it!!
