summertime August 28th, 2009
I’ve had a few people ask me about pics of our vacation this summer and the fact that I have been withholding them and I admit I have because….well, to be perfectly honest, I didn’t get the shots I really wanted but since some people continue to ask (ahem Darrin), I will share them anyway:
Here is my princess making a mess of a sand castle:

love a good sand wedgie:

Here she is taking a sand shower (oh the joy of washing that out):

and here she is cracking up at her sand shower and her mother’s dismay:

Oh YES, I have a son too and despite his hatred of my camera, I continued to try and I think I get a B- for effort:

Here’s the little man looking a little happier because he found a girlfriend. I’m not quite sure who she is but I guess she’s cute.

HOLD ON – WAIT A MINUTE!!! Darrin, isn’t this your kid!?!?!?!!? I get it now, you didn’t care about MY vacation pics at all, you just wanted to see shots of your own kids and all this time I thought you cared about me. Fine – here you go!
Even I have to admit that she’s pretty darn cute:

and one helluva jumper:

I guess you now expect to see pictures of your other one too………………….FINE (said with total attitude):

and of course the family shot:

and my personal favorite:

Now stop stalking me (heehee). Love you guys!
super baby August 26th, 2009
remember this belly? I swore that she was having a boy but as usual I was………….

………………………..WRONG!
Meet little Carly at 2 weeks of age!

Look at what a show-off she is already! I’ve never seen a 2 week old baby do this before.

Enjoy her (especially before she learns how to talk back)!!!
overwhelmed August 24th, 2009
as if I didn’t have enough on my plate already – look what we brought home last week.

His name was Riley but naturally we had to change it (although our Riley told us it would be fine if we wanted to call her Olivia instead of Riley – not quite sure where she got Olivia from but whatever..) and his new name is Miles. Despite the housebreaking struggles he is doing great and is already well-loved!!!

Welcome to our family Miles!
team EDWARD August 16th, 2009
Anyone who has had the displeasure of reading my Facebook posts must be aware that I am desperately trying to hang onto my youth by jumping on the Twilight bandwagon. I must say that the idea of Edward’s existence is enough to make me blush and squeal like a 12 year old girl (and maybe even worse than a 12 year old girl) so I am really glad that I did not notice this mom’s bracelet until the end of her session. She had on a “Team Jacob” bracelet – can you believe it!?!?!?!? If I had seen it right away, I may have been forced to cancel our session on the spot (yeah right) and that would have been a darn shame because she has 2 of the cutest, nicest kids I’ve ever met and that must make her one helluva Mom despite her bad taste in immortal men.

Winding down and a Berks County Session August 12th, 2009
I cannot believe that I am less than 3 weeks away from sending my baby girl off on the big yellow bus. Is anyone else completely stressed about this!?!?!?!? We’ve been searching online for the perfect backpack so if anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them. I know it’s a completely superficial small detail but I am a sucker for small details.
With the upcoming school year, it is time for me to start thinking about my Fall & Holiday schedule. I have a handful of dates still available which would guarantee delivery before the holidays so if you’ve been considering a session, now is the time to call. I am also kicking around the idea of having mini-sessions again and will post the details as soon as they are available!
I also wanted to share a few shots from last weekend:
