How lucky was I to spend my Friday afternoon with this sweet, peaceful guy?!?!!?!? What a fantastic addition to your family and I can’t wait to photograph him in a few years when he’s running around in his big sisters’ (he has 2) princess dresses. haha.

Congrats and enjoy him!!!
I’d love to: Chester County April 12th, 2010
Soooooooooo, I don’t usually photograph large groups but I had to make an exception this time. This is one of the funniest and most down-to-earth families you will ever meet and we all go way back. Kathy was a good friend of mine and is still as kind and genuine as I remembered her to be, Rob still cracks me up and I love how he adores his daughter, and Larry – welllllllllllllllllllllll, he is also a great father and really makes me laugh too but I have to admit that I still hold it against him that one time when I was much younger, we went to South Street and he and his friends pulled the knot in the cherry stem trick on me and BOY was I fuming when I figured out a few years later that they were laughing at my expense. I may not be the quickest but in my defense, I was also the only one who wasn’t 21 yet. Anyway………I should probably get over that since it was ages ago but unfortunately I’ve been cursed with an elephant’s memory. Okay, back to the pictures, Kathy told me that she wanted to give her mother a gift certificate for her birthday and I was so excited to see them all again. I hope they had as much fun as I did!! I can’t believe how grown up we all are now but it’s so awesome to see old friends and meet their families – I am also so honored that they came to me for pictures!

love this shot of Mom & Dad – I think it was the only G-rated one I had though. hahaha (joking……….kind of).

and the whole family!

Spring, finally!! April 05th, 2010
I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say THANK GOD SPRING IS HERE! It has been a long winter and it’s good to see some color in the grass again! I adore these pink blossoms on the tree in my backyard which manages to bloom every year along with tons of tulips and daffodils thanks to our home’s previous owner. I am the worst gardener ever but am taking on the challenge of a small veggie patch this year so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Swings scream spring to me. I could do without the crocs but what can you do? They are way too easy.

Since this post is a jumble of things I also wanted to add that I only have a handful of sessions still available for Spring and I also wanted to share my entry for last week’s 1 Word Challenge found HERE ON FLICKR. The word for the week was round:
