The boys of Summer : Berks County

Despite being almost kicked out of multiple locations, I had a blast with the Summers family. They were so polite in laughing at my corny jokes and in teaching me that while I’m trying to act cool – I’m TOTALLY not (yes Kyle, I said “totally” which I learned is an anything but cool term). I came home from this session and went straight to my neighbors who reaffirmed that I should indeed drop that word from my vocabulary so I’m working on it.

Anyway, I digress as usual. I was so glad I was able to meet these guys before Kyle heads off to college and I wish him so much success at Widener (and maybe a little bit of fun too). Thanks for spending your Friday evening with me!!!!

A great honeymoon makes for beautiful babies – okay, not really but it was pretty close afterwards when my friend Noreen told me that they were expecting this not-so-little guy and I couldn’t be happier for them! I’ve photographed some of the cutest babies this summer (with great hair, I might add) and Grey was definitely the perfect end to the perfect summer.

I just love this age (I know I’ve said it a million times). They sit, they smile, they stand, they laugh and best of all – they LOOK AT ME!!!!! I would photograph 12 month old babies all day if I could – especially when they are as beautiful as Miss Teagan.

I traveled to the Main Line to do this newborn session last week and this little guy made me earn my money for sure! As you can see, he REFUSED to fall asleep and miss a thing:

He did give us 10 minutes – literally only 10 minutes but they were a pretty 10 minutes for sure!

He looks so much like his big brother did as a newborn!! His mother is a fantastic friend and one of my biggest cheerleaders although I am still a little miffed that she didn’t let on at our last session that she was expecting this little guy. haha.

Seriously, if my kids were this cute and I looked this good a week after giving birth – I’d do nothing but have baby after baby after baby. Oh but then I’d have to take care of them and feed them so that may put a damper on my plans. I guess I will just stick with the ones I have and dream of a faster metabolism.

Congratulations!!! I can’t wait to watch them grow and become the best of friends!!!!

NOTE: I am officially unplugged in 5…..4……3……2……1 seconds. The fam and I are headed to Bethany Beach for a week of fun. I am trying to escape and live in denial that I will be 36 tomorrow. Why does that feel so old?? I will respond to any emails and calls as soon as I return!!!!!!!!
